Now that we know the meaning of the craft and DIY projects, we are about to begin,
Different kind of craft and DIY Projects
Beautiful handmade recycled piece created in San Diego from beer bottle caps
Whether for a man cave, dorm, bar, or living room, a piece from caps will make it pop.
This is NOT an outdoor piece, the sun and brain will discolor and rust the art.
the beauty of this thing is that it adapts to the surroundings of our home and we have no difficulty in putting the things we want in our house, and even cheaper ones just seem to be expensive when you put them in DIY project like that. You can't say that this isn't durable because in appearance you will find it is durable and beautifully made and the materials used are good.\

DIY Key Holders & Racks For Your Home
This is done to get access anywhere you need a key. Someone told me once that everything opens with the right key. For those of you who put their keys everywhere and don’t find them when you need them the most I’m going to present you some interesting ways to put your keys, and never lose them again. The need for a key holder is a real fact in our modern life. We have car keys, keys form our homes, office and so on. Losing them would be a disaster in a tight situation and that is why you should take seriously into consideration having a special place for your keys.
Materials:
- 1/2 plywood with atleast 23.5 width and 14 in height.
- Pine outside corner moulding we need 76 but since the store sell it buy feet then get 84 or 7, or you can find a bunch of this in your local store and will vary in price by design just make sure that get one with an internal depth of 1/2.
- Pine base moulding with atleast 3 depth and 12.5 in length.
- Brass-plated steel cup hooks.
- D-Ring Hanger
- Wood glue
- Sand paper
You will also needs the following tools:
- Mitter saw for cutiing the angled corners.
- circular saw for cutting the plywood
- Drill
- Nail gun or screw for attaching the box.
- Screw driver
Procedures:
Step 1:Parts, Tools and Cuts
- Prepare the plywood by cutting 23.5 x 14 .
- Cut four corresponding outside corner moulding make sure to measure using the internal/inside part and not the outside part.
- Sand everything then wipe it clean or use a compressed air duster or compressor.
Step 2:Build the box
- We need to build a box that will accomodate different sizes of flower base, this way we can swap flowers at anytime.Or we can use it for other things like a fragrance diffuser.
- Cut the pined base moulding with the following size:
- Left and right side for from the inside not the outside with one and cut at 45 degree.
- Front 4.5 and 45 degree cut on both ends.
- Cut a base from a 3/4 wood with dimensions of 4.5 x 4.
Step 3:Staining
- Stain the corner moulding with mahogany color .
- Stain the plywood with pecan color.
- Stain the box with the mahogany color
Step 4: Corner details
- Make sure the edge is covered properly. This is why we are interested in a moulding corner with 1/2 depth to cover the edge of the 1/2 side of the plywood. Now you don't have to stay wtih a 1/2 thickness as along as you match both parts in depth then it should be okay.
Step 5: Hook placement
- See image for the placement of hook.Make sure to space out the hooks evenly. I only use 6 out of 8 hooks to not make it crowded specially if you have huge key attachement i.e.car remotes + keys + others.Drill the hook placement location at the front and do the same for the hanger location at the back.
